It’s not that I didn’t enjoy live music before I moved to Portland, it’s more like I didn’t enjoy it as much as I do after living here. I think it’s Portland. There’s magic here when it comes to music. Let’s take a closer look at some of the music venues around the area.
In the glorious Portland summertime, enjoying live music outdoors might be my favorite thing to do in Portland. My husband and I went to see The National at McMenamin’s Edgefield the other night. It was the first concert in their summer concerts on the lawn series and it was fabulous! There’s nothing quite like a beautiful venue, great food and drink and wonderful music with a couple thousand of your closest Portland neighbors. Here are some of the artists that will be playing at Edgefield this summer (2023): The National, The Pixies, Modest Mouse, My Morning Jacket, Dianna Ross, Peter Frampton, Portugal. The Man, and more.
